A Scanner Darkly
It feels like I'm going to like this movie. The same thing happened with A Clockwork Orange. I heard the title long before I heard anything about the movie and I was just like, huh. well will you look at that. And then I saw it and was like omgz what did i just watch. i doubt this will be anything to that level, but who knows. Maybe it's just that they both have cool sounding titles?

I work here now. check out that sweet gear!
Anyway, I've been there since Monday. Today is going to be my first real "work" at the studio. The band Pepper is coming in and the lead singer of 311 will be producing. I'm the assistant to the second engineer. Nothing really glamorous, mostly just setting up, tearing down, going on runs, stuff like that. it's not my style of music, but it's something.
Also cool is that one of my teachers asked him to help run his session tonight at midnight. I felt slightly honored because he specifically asked for me.
